She praised the growing representation of women in films and called for equal opportunities both on and off screen.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1010\" data-end=\"1341\">The evening\u2019s most prestigious honour, the <strong data-start=\"1053\" data-end=\"1079\">Dadasaheb Phalke Award<\/strong>, went to veteran actor <strong data-start=\"1103\" data-end=\"1115\">Mohanlal<\/strong>, for his four-decade-long distinguished contribution to cinema. Calling the award \u201c<em data-start=\"1199\" data-end=\"1219\">magical and sacred<\/em>,\u201d Mohanlal said <em data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1273\">cinema is the heartbeat of his soul<\/em> and dedicated the recognition to the masters of Malayalam cinema.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1343\" data-end=\"1772\">The award ceremony also celebrated mainstream and grassroots cinema. <strong data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1430\">Shah Rukh Khan<\/strong> (<em data-start=\"1432\" data-end=\"1439\">Jawan<\/em>) and <strong data-start=\"1445\" data-end=\"1463\">Vikrant Massey<\/strong> (<em data-start=\"1465\" data-end=\"1476\">12th Fail<\/em>) jointly bagged <strong data-start=\"1493\" data-end=\"1507\">Best Actor<\/strong>, while <strong data-start=\"1515\" data-end=\"1531\">Rani Mukerji<\/strong> won <strong data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1552\">Best Actress<\/strong> for <em data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1585\">Mrs. Chatterjee v\/s Norway<\/em>.
